Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder as the saying goes there is beauty even in a blooming clump of grass. The wonder never ceases, life is never boring to those who look for beauty in the common, everyday things we normally take for granted. Do you take time to look around and be filled with awe?

I always do specially when i am travelling . I could have played my game on my phone , but i always choose to see the sights as the jeepney passes by barrios before finally reaching our hometown , or even when i am travelling daytime through a bus .

@sofssu Have you see how a jeepney looks ? You are face to face with each passenger and the window at your back . But when there are less passengers , you can seat sideways and have a full view of the sights while the jeepney passes . Though with a bus if you are on the window seat you really can have a good view of the sights it passes by .

@SIMPLYD Oh no, I remember one picture of the Jeepney you posted on the other site now. So if you want to look out you will get a terrible neck pain.. I guess.

I think when I was younger, I took the wonder of life for granted. Now that I am older and have slowed down a lot, I love watching nature and I am in awe of everything around me.

@simone10 Its a beautiful world we live in.. so beautiful that it could readily take the worries of life off our shoulders. I am glad that you now stop and let yourself be enchanted.

@sofssu I sit out on our balcony and watch nature every day. We have birds, bunnies, deer, squirrels, chipmunks just to name a few.

yes I do .... I think it's easier to do ... when you have an interest in photography ... I know what you mean about looking for beauty in the everyday...., took a photo of a puddle and a wheatfield ... and loved them both... and have many more too... as you do I expect .. lol

@sueznewz2 My friend isn't interested in photography but she paints what she sees. My mom would write lines of poetry on blades of grass.. Its much more easier for us to look at the beauty of things because we can highlight them to the world with our pictures. The problem for us is that we have one picture too many of the puddles and the grass as you say.

@JudyEv So true, its not just the roses. What we trample on could be the most beautiful flower on the face of the Earth.

i am a lover of nature and even those that we think are insignificant. we can always find something nice in a rather plain or ugly looking thing.

@ridingbet You are right, there is nothing that is really plain.. everything is interesting to those who are interested in them.
