baby sitting pay rate

how much do you think a sitter should get paid for 6 hrs and 2 children? i was called to baby sit last night last min and got paid 40 bucks...i think i was over paid

It sounds like the people who hired you appreciate a good sitter and put it in their budget to pay accordingly. Congrats on the job.

hey kelly thats sounds about right, it works out to be about 3.00 per kid per hr i think thats about average

i guess i remember the old days when we got paid around 20 bucks for 8 hrs..back then i was baby sitting 4 kids for 10 hrs lol plus cleaning the house ahhh its an awesome job working with kids

over paid, i dont think so, thats like 7$ an hour at last minute... for 2 children i think that is good
