Just as soon as he leaves.

For the third time this month my husband has not been ready to leave for church on time. He is always up to his arm pits in a project, and we miss. It makes me sad.
Since we did not go, again, he is going to go get the parts for his transmission for his truck. He is going to change the filter and transmission fluid. He is taking the little car. I am not going, because I do not want to.
Just as soon as he leaves I am going to go mow the lawn. He has told me that is his job, but it is not getting done. It is a little cooler today, so I should be able to get a good start on the front at least.
I had a sticky spill in the kitchen yesterday. I mopped. It was still sticky, and I have mopped again today. I want to do it one more time.
My floors are ceramic tile and are slippery when wet. It will be safer to do while he is gone. I do not want anyone slipping and falling.
So now you know what is happening at my house. Oh, and he is smoking ribs.

The mower would not start for either one of us. It felt cooler today than it has been feeling.

I'm sorry you missed church. =( We have been missing it a lot lately as well. Today we missed it because our youngest daughter has a fever. We don't want to get anyone else sick. I hope you have a good day.

Well, mower would not start, the person at the auto store told him what probably is the problem and that will cost around $300. Grrr. I mopped again. LOL. With four kids it is hard for everyone to be healthy. I hope you have had a good day.

Go without him LOL
Steve only went to church on special occasions, but once we got married he joined and got too involved.
I was planning on skipping church this Sunday for the quilt retreat and knowing I would feel guilty about it. But, it's member led this Sunday and the member that is doing it is an excellent speaker. I will leave right after his sermon and head to the retreat. Janet is going to leave when I do.

Ha, I just finished one.Mower is not starting for me or for him. It is a new mower, but it has been sitting where he left it in the middle of the yard in the rain. Go figure.

We have just gotten so out of order on things. We really relax on the weekends, but this truck issue is a mess. The young man at the auto parts store also works full time in a transmission shop. He gave hubby the low down on the problem. The replacement part will be $300, but the labor will be hubby doing it.
