Good morning and Happy Monday Many of you have ask what is the special meaning of the rock that we brought to the celebration of life. In lieu of flowers,donation is to be made VNA there. Family and friends are asked to bring a rock,which will be collect and build a small cairn.In their yard.The ashes we be thrown along the Merrimack River This is where he done most of his sailing. Cairn meaning a small human made pile.Stacked of Stones. I believed that the word is Scottish?not sure. Maybe someone here can tell us. A very good idea.When it is done.I do hope to get a photo of it. have a good one.Stay cool.The lily is a gift to me.Many years ago

That is a lovely idea to create a memorial for your friend. I think the word is Scottish. There is a dog breed 'the Cairn terrier' which is Scottish.
