I am sweltering!

I have just had to turn one of my fans back up. I use two fans when sleeping to help circulate the air. Usually they are a bit too cold on me when I first wake up, so I turn them down until I need them on full blast for bedtime. However, It's no where near bed time and I've had to turn one of the fans back up because it's soo hot. It's 1 AM here and currently 79 degrees farenheit (26 degrees for all those who use celsius). The highs have been in the 90's and I am honestly unsure of how much more of this I can take! I don't like to be too cold, mind you, but too hot is definitely not for me either. I'd rather be too cold at this point though. So here I am, practically BEGGING for fall to e here. Just fall though, Winter can stay long away!

26C is not even considered too hot here. Just warm lol! Well our country can be as hot as 37C with a heat index of 45C.

Yes it's all of this humidity that makes it so much worse!

I am also begging for fall to be here. I do not like the cold of winter, but I dislike even more this heat and humidity.

I feel for those who have to work out in it! I couldn't last very long at any job where I had to stand the heat of summer!

@ScribbledAdNauseum I also feel for those who have to work out in winter, with the ice and the snow. Extreme temperatures are never pleasant.

Today, the weather was more cooler but it felt very humid and stuffy! I am not liking this weather lately. I have the fan on right now and a/c will go on soon! I hope it cools down for you! I prefer cool hot too!

@ScribbledAdNauseum In the high 80's I already complain. But it has gotten hotter during heatwaves to 100's but not regularly since I live near the beach area.

We don't ever seem to get to the 100's, of which I am happy. I know it can easily get to the 100's there though.

bless yer heart, thank goodness fer fans, eh? 'been an oven here most'f the month. we'd lost'f cloud cover monday, so's our high only reached 103 degrees. thankfully storms came through mid e'enin' 'n though we barely got any rain, the temps cooled quickly down to the 70's. i've no desire fer winter myself, my least favorite season. the neuropathy jest goes haywire when 'tis cold. i hope that the heat wave leaves yer parts soon, hon.

We've had a few storms but they've not cooled much down. Though I suppose I should be thankful the temps haven't reached 100 quite yet!

Yeah last night I was too hot too. It finally cooled off that I did sleep some. I don't like fans blowing in my face.

Neither of my fans do. I have one at the end of my bed. It was $50.00 at walmart and has three small fans on it. Then another that is at the side of my bed, pointing upwards but not quite reaching my face.

I'm not loving the hot, but I'm not begging for fall, that means winter wont be too far behind, and I hate those cold winds of winter.

I agree, winter is entirely too much. Now if I could see the snow without the danger with travel, and without the biting cold? I'd be all for winter. I still wish for fall though, with winter amounting to a nice snowfall on CHristmas Day and that be it.

Summer is killer. In Oklahoma it's not just hot, but humid beyond belief. How did people back in the day live without at least having fans to plug in?

I think a bath sounds very nice about now. Just a nice cool shower turned to hot for the briefest of moments so as to not catch a cold!

I don't like it bolster. I rarely sweat anymore. I gave my heating pad on now to keep me warm.

The rest of the house here can circulate air / heat fairly well. This room, for whatever reason, never wants to keep regulated. Sorry you are having to keep warm but atleast you are not too hot either.
