It has me wondering?

Now that's not an unusual thought . . me wondering! However its not the wondering off kind of wonder, but the pondering of the mind that I was wondering about . . . does that make sense? Dont fret - all will be revealed soon. Yesterday a little cheer came via my mailbox from Val in New Zealand, a postcard depicting the Marlborough Sounds. You might think I am crazy but after the read and a quick google about information that will support the actual postcard when I write about it, I totally understand that there are places that are unspoiled and have unique sounds. We live in a beautiful world. Back to my wondering . . . . I wonder how many countries have new stamps for the up and coming Olympic games? I would love to see some. My photo is of the stunning stamps on Val's postcard that I received yesterday. I absolutely love them. @valmnz Have a good Tuesday everyone - much love to you all.

@inlemay Here's a Malawian stamp commemorating the 1984 Olympics.

@Inlemay I have a sentimental collection of Malawian stamps - my futile, adolescent attempt to remain connected with Malawi.

I cannot remember ever seeing a commemorative stampfor the Olympic Games, although they clear!y must exist. I shall enquire whether Britain has any such plans.

@Inlemay It is unlikely because usually only the host country issues any.

I am off tomorrow morning to our Head Post Office to see if we have any - especially with some swimmers etched on their front

We don't seem to have the vast range of stamps that we once had which is a great shame I think.
