Mr. Spider? My bed is NOT a water spout

I know he's still around, plotting my demise! Or she... either way, they are plotting nefariously! So about eleven am I was awoken by my fan making a clinky clank sound. It does this on occasion, and usually all I need do is tip it over and back and it's fine. This time, however, there seemed to be a dust / hair bunny caught in it's blades. The fan sits on the floor so this does happen from time to time. In any case, I got the scissors out and went about my task when I saw it. Out of the corner of my eye, on ti's merry little way, was a medium sized spider. I said "nope" and went about the task of trying to kill it with my scissors. Obviously the little thing was far too fast for me, and now I am certain it lurks and waits. In fact, it took me a few minutes to get back to sleep but when I almost succumbed? I felt a tickling sensation on my back and instantly shot up and did the hokey pokey! Of course THAT could have easily been a hair as my hair is getting long...
