"This is my life . . .
And I’m passing on the
Memories"
The song was written by Andre de Villiers especially for the VW advert in South Africa but has the amazing ability to take you back to many FEEL GOOD things that one remembers . . .
Like do you remember days when struggling was fun?
remembering how far the last $ would stretch at the end of the month?
remembering the achievements of every one of your children?
flashbacks to tearful moments that eventually became history?
I share this little youtube with you to remind you we all need some FEEL GOOD times in our lives - remember them with fondness!
Happy day - much love sent from me to you!
“What day is it?"
It's today," squeaked Piglet.
My favorite day," said Pooh.”

I remember, as a 7-year-old, being at a garden fête when everything stopped and an announcement came over the loud speakers, "Britain has declared war on Egypt." This was the beginning of the Suez Crisis of 1956. I was terrified because, although I missed the war by 3 years, I had heard many stories of the blitz (we lived on the western outskirts of London) and had visions of Egyptian bombings. It took my mum a long time to calm me down!
