Ever Moved by Words?

I have loved reading since I learned how to recognize printed words. In fact, it was the 28th of July this year when I started a discussion about highlighting passages in a book. I was fond of it because those passages have meanings for me. It moved me. Those lines affect me emotionally. Here is a simple line that moved me and has been stuck with me since I spent a time to read "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho: " ....when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too." Are there lines, quotes, lyrics or even simple conversations which moved you? Pay attention on them because for sure, those words matter in your life.

That is true and a beautiful line too.Well, there is a poem by Robert Frost "The road not taken".In that there is a line "I had choosen the road less travelled by and that has made all the difference". These are not the exact words but yeah the jist is this.I have been seriously very inspired by this line. :)

I love Robert Frost and I love that line too. It is very applicable to me as well. I have also chosen the road less travelled by when it comes to relationships.

I love to read quotes and it is incredible how many great quotes people have written. I will share this one with you: 'Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.' Francis of Assisi

" Love me for what I am", a line in the song of The Carpenters with the same title. I want people to accept and love me as I am. I am not a fond of reading books but I am fond of singing.

I like that song too and I used to sing that before when my friends are sharing their love problems with me. Their love relationships are very complicated.

Sometimes I find myself reading for different purposes. Many times it is just for information and I skim and skip over. Reading sincerely however requires time and contemplation. Thank you for quoting and the post as it does improve quality of life. God bless.

I have always loved to read novels especially those ones about achieving one's dreams or about travels.I think it is the reason that I always stick to what I want to happen in my life because I see those characters as my model.

I love Paulo Coelho .. and yes I am always moved by things I read and songs I listen to .. "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all" .. sung by Whitney Houston 'The greatest Love of All" .. It's a big shame that Whitney didn't pay attention to that song which she sung with great conviction .. .

I also love that line. Before we can love others, we should start loving our very own self first. Indeed, we cannot share a drop of perfume to others unless we get a smell of the perfume on our wrist first.

I can never forget this line which I came across when I was still in the elementary : "Friends don't need to prove nothing to nobody; much less to each other."
