My husband had a loose screw!

He sure did, but it's all fixed now LOL! When we loaded the tractor onto the trailer to take it for a 50 minutes ride back to the dealer the week before last he noticed a big screw sitting on the mower deck. He put it in the cup holder and off we went. They worked on that tractor and ran it for two hours, naturally they couldn't duplicate the problem we had with it stalling out. We brought it home, another 50 minute ride each way. The screw was still in the cup holder. He found out what is was for - it was actually a bolt, one of 4 that holds the seat in place. So it is back where it belongs. And the tractor is running good - we have no clue way but neither does Cub Cadet! The tractor is running fine and he has no more loose screws, a good day overall! Photo is mind, taken a few minutes ago.

Ouch! That could have been a very bumpy ride if that seat came off.

@celticeagle He's tough. When we first moved to TN he built an entire metal building (40 x 40) by himself w/o incident. He was working on the tension rod for the garage door and it slipped, spun around a million times and split his wrist open (there were no sharp edges it was smooth) and his main artery was exposed. He had to drive himself to the hospital I was too upset to drive.

He was luckier than I was because I am still unable to replace the screw that I lost from my lawn mower.

@AbbyGreenhill I actually considered that, but soon abandoned the idea.

@Asylum He often makes parts instead of running around trying to buy them. He's pretty good at metal work.

He would have/could have made one if push came to shove.

@AbbyGreenhill I say that about my husband every now and then. It seems like our equipment does tend to make a liar out of us. Glad you found the loose screw.

Unfortunately, I can't find the right size wrench to use on him!
