Meteor Showers...
And not just anywhere, but over Britain.
I am entirely too exhausted to really put much effort into explaining the article. I will, however, say that I expect pictures if you are so lucky to witness the meteor shower.
Have you ever witnessed such an event?
Stargazers will be treated to the best natural firework display for nearly a decade next week when the annual Perseid meteor shower peaks, bringing 200 shooting stars streaking across the sky every hour.

I hope you will enjoy it. Better to look for perfect vantage points now. I wonder if a lot of the parks and more hill like areas will be filled with people watching?

@ScribbledAdNauseum Probably. I will have to find a place by car. Where I am is flat.

I was reading that on this article. It seems this one is still expected to be a bit more than usual because of other orbits causing more meteors this year.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have read this morning that today we can have problems due to a magnetic storm on the Sun.

There were meteor showers here about six months ago but I missed them because I forgot and went to bed. My son happened to be working and said it was quite a show.

Well we have plenty of great UK members so I think at least one of them should get a shot of the meteors.
