Places To Visit In The USA

I was just thinking about all the places in this country that I have yet to visit and probably will never get to visit. I was glancing through a couple of old travel brochures that I’ve had for a long time and was just ready to toss them along with dozens of other things that I’ve been holding on to for years. One was dated 1994. There were pictures of several different things to see. So, I took the time to look at the pictures and thought to myself: “What a marvelous country this is! There is so much to see.” I think just about any person who lives in ANY country could say the same thing. The EARTH has so many beautiful places to visit, so many natural wonders, from mountains to waterfalls to deserts and although I’ve seen quite a few of these places, there are many more that I have not seen. Most of these, I didn’t even know existed. SAD I’m going to toss this brochure today, but I thought I would list some of the places it mentions and just see if anyone on myLot has been to any of these places. These are places that I have NOT visited, but would if I could. 1. Cataract Falls, Mount Tamalpais State Park, California 2. Mt. Shuksan, North Cascades National Park, Washington 3. El Capitan, Yosemite National Park, California 4. Horsetail Falls, Yosemite National Park, California 5. Sandstone spires, Bryce Amphitheater, Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah 6. Lava tube, Na Pali Coast State Park, Kauai, Hawaii 7. Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, Arizona 8. Pothole Arch, Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Utah 9. Cape Sebastian, Oregon 10. Quinault Rain Forest, Olympic National Park, Washington 11. Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah 12. McNeil River Bear Sanctuary, Alaska 13. Tufa, Mono Lake, California 14. Bisti Badlands, New Mexico 15. Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, California 16. City of Rocks National Reserve, Albion Mountains, Idaho 17. Punkatasset Woods and Pond, Concord, Massachusetts I just tossed the brochure in the wastebasket. I really enjoyed looking at the pictures again though. Have you ever been to any of these places?
