I went online to check this out.The information that I got.
This believe me that I did not know.
Have you ever heard about this?
A tap to the right spot behind the elbow, the so-called funny bone, can cause pain and tingling sensations to shoot down your forearm. People often describe this sensation as an 'electric shock-like' pain typical of an irritated nerve. Usually this is a sharp jolt to the elbow that quickly resolves, but it can also cause more persistent symptoms in some people.

The person who named it the funny bone must have a weird sense of humour! Ouchy.

When you hit your funny bone, it doesn't feel so good so why is it a funny bone?

Yes it really hurts when you hit your funny bone. Why do they call it a funny bone when it hurts?
