It's hot isn't it? I just happened across this interesting article:
Yes, that is right. Make your own cooler. All you need is a styrofoam cooler, an old fan, dryer vents, and some frozen water bottles. Can you believe it? Watch this video to see how to do it:

I have seen things like this, if it's a dry area one can also set out pans of water in front of fans, it all helps
