Happy birthday to my sweetheart

She'll be on here later today. I've got a shift today and my son starts quite early. She won't be out of bed for awhile.
We keep birthday celebrations very low key around here. I know that she doesn't want to make a big deal out of it. Her age is a big secret by the way. She's eighteen with a whole lot of experience.
Photo was taken on a walk with here yesterday. The wildflowers look like they were plants there on purpose.
Happy birthday sweetheart. I hope you're having a good day. See you when I get back from work.

Thank you. Sadly I have to work and there are some chores that need doing. We'll have a nice evening with the family.

The weather doesn't look like it's cooperating so far but it's hard to tell. Still pretty dark out. My daughter will likely make a cake and we'll all have a good evening. I might not be here much after work.

So many different kinds of wildflowers. The biting insects seem to have declined somewhat as well. I don't spend the whole time fighting them off.

@paigea Start of the year the black flies were worse than they've ever been. The mosquitoes were bad for awhile but the summer has been dry and last year was a lot worse.

@koopharper here, they are bad some days and not others. I was able to pick all of the peas without resorting to bug spray
