Do You Shop at Sprouts

Sprouts is a huge grocery store near us. They are quiet expensive and I don't shop there for anything other than special sales. They usually have a few fruits or veggies on sale every week and I buy those. This week they had pears for .50 per lb., peaches for .98, avocados 2 for $1.00 and plums .98 per pound. I came out with bags of fruit to do us for more than a week. I love to stock up when I find a good sale. I intended to get grapes for .88 per lb. but they were sold out. Do you have a special store to shop for bargains?

I have been here for the last 8 years in a retirement center but before that I did shop at vons as they had Irvine farms produce local at so much cheaper prices and it was fresh and also pesticide free too.

We don't have a Von's or I've never heard of it. I see you all have different stores all over the country. i suppose prices are different too. Some being higher than others. Publix is our most expensive store around this area.

@RubyHawk vons was part of safeway and now they have shut their vons grocery stores down b ut when I used to shop there all theirbest most inexpensive veggies and fruits came from Irvine farms., the Irvine family are multi millionaires in our county

At times we do too, but since Sprouts opened just a couple of miles away. We're rolling in clover.

I have tried shopping in all the malls here . Thus , i know which one offers the cheapest price . So , for needs , i always shop on who got the cheapest prices . But like you when there are sales , and i am in need to buy something , i go to the one with Sale .

One of our nearest stores is Aldi and they have the best prices over all, but Sprouts have some great fruit sales. i hope it lasts.

We have Sprouts here in Austin, Texas. I have shopped there. But I don't go out of my way to shop there. It's not conveniently located to where I live.

@RubyHawk - Yes. I thought they were a bit pricey. But my husband insisted they had certain products he thought were better for his diet. Every once in a while I'll make the trip for him.

I wouldn't go far out of my way, they are very expensive other than a few special sale products.

when i 'twas goin' to lubbock all the time fer medical schtuff, i'd most oft stop by sprouts. they'd great produce 's well 's lots 'f gluten free schtuff i need. now the hubs does the shoppin', 's i aint able. he buys wheree'er, lol.

Sprouts is a huge store that has just about everything, but I only buy the fruit or veggies they have on sale, If my better half did the shopping, I'd be afraid to see what he brought in.

@RubyHawk i love they've raw nuts :D stock'p'n those almonds when i get to those parts. lots cheaper'n orderin' 'em online (they don't sell 'em here 'xcept fer 't the healthfood store - fer 4x's the price) 'n i use 'em to make my own almond milk (no junk that way). the hubs aint allowed to go into sprouts coz he jest goes crazy with all the 'new' schtuff he sees, lol. the daughter used to take me fer my treatments 'n we'd hit there 'fterwards. always brought coolers, she inherited that buy all ya see thingy from the hubs, lol.

@crazyhorseladycx Sprouts have all kinds of nuts and about any foodstuff you would want to buy. But they are so expensive. I buy my almonds and other nuts at Aldi's. As i say, I am a tight wad.

I wish I could find fruit at such a great sale as that. I don't know any place in Green Bay that has great prices or great fruit. I'm looking for a place that has good fruit, not fruit that is already going bad when they put it out for sale.

I don't know how long if fruit sales will last at Sprouts. The store hasn't been there long and fruit might be something to draw customers in.

There is no Sprouts nears us at all but there was when we lived in Colorado. I loved the sales at that srtores.

When it comes to getting bargains on fruits we don't have much to choose from. Normally I have to wait for a coupon for our local grocery store to have something on sale and then I can use their coupon for a bargain. I don't know why fruit is so expensive

No bargains here except at the local supermarket. I shop at Whole Foods and our local farm markets. When it comes to our bellies, we don't care much about cost.

We have a whole Foods here and their prices are sky high. I'm too thrifty to shop there. I care greatly about the cost of everything.
