Any Crowdtappers?

From needing 1,000 points to cash out for $5 Amazon Giftcard, you now need 2,500 points. No wonder they had a "big" maintenance last month and now it takes 1-3 business days to receive our Amazon Giftcards when before it was instantly. Crowdtap didn't even give us a heads up or notification of this new change, but I guess on the bright side the site is still in business and is legit. Are you a Crowdtapper? How do you feel on this new change? Did you notice it.

same old same old with all these sites I'm glad I don't waste my time on them, I just stay here. If there was another writing/discussion site like mylot I'd give it a try but every one I've looked at doesn't have the interaction that mylot does.

@Mike197602 Yes but I've been with Crowdtap for awhile. But I took a break because be reward system was horrible until earlier this year. It's very effortless there. Few polls, answering questions, reviewing products if you get picked. I'd get extra $15-$20 Amazon a month. Now with the new change, probably $5!

Oh my gosh I did not even notice that. How irritating. I used to get gift cards every few days back when I first joined but every two weeks or so. At least I get chosen for a lot of products to test. Right now I am doing the Jergens wet skin moisturizer, ROC retional correction eye cream & ROC Multi correxion 5 in 1 restoring night cream, and Haagen-Dazs.

@infatuatedbby Mine is still showing the 1000. I wonder after I reach this one if it will show me that I need 2000 points from now on. I will let you know.

I'm on Crowdtap every day and my score still shows that I only need a total of 500 points to get a $5.00 Amazon.com gift card. I got one just a couple of weeks ago. Am I missing something?

My first two times it was only 500 points but after that it went to 1,000 to get a cashout but it doesn't take long at all to get to a thousand on there. There is always a ton of polls, comments, media, and photos to do. If you stay off of it for a day or two they add up and you get your points even faster.

@1creekgirl Wow, I have always had to earn 1,000 points to get $5 Amazon. Now mine is showing I need 2,500. Maybe, it depends on our level?

@CaseyRoss9966 That explains it. I just finished my second set of 500 points and will soon get a $5 Amazon card, but a few minutes ago, I saw that I now have to earn 1,000 points. Who knew?

I recently rejoined but always did it after everything else. Guess I won't bother anymore. I imagine it will be gone like many others before too long.

I am not sure. Some others said their account shows needing 500 points or 1,000 points. I hope it's a glitch. 2,500 points is a lot just for $5.

@infatuatedbby Too much for me. It took long enough to get 1000 for a $5 payout on ChatAbout.

I never heard of Crowdtapper. Isn't it just typical to change the redemption requirements after everyone has invested so much of their time. I'll stay away from this one,.

Yeah especially since writing this post. I've notice some only need 500 points to get $5 or someone said $10. It was 1,000 points for me to get $5... I'm confused.

I only drop in for 5-10 minutes a day. The gift cards add up but I don't know about 2,500 points now when it was only 1,000 originally needed. That's double and half!

I love Crowdtap. On my mothers, boyfriends, and mine we still only have to go to 1,000 points to cashout. The wait for the gift card is kind of annoying specially when the last few have been taking a lot longer than 3 business days to get mailed to me. I haven't been on there long and I have already made $45. My amazon gift cards are adding up really fast.

Yes the gift cards add up! Have you noticed the new change? It says now you need 2,500 points to cash out for $5.

@infatuatedbby On mine it still just says a 1,000 points and I just cashed out. My boyfriend cashed out Thursday and his still says he only needs 1,000 to cashout again. I don't know why yours says 2,500.

I still keep telling myself to go check it out since now it seems you can just cash out over having sweepstakes chances. The rate things are going for me and already trying to do too much, I doubt I ever make it in.

It's fairly easy but now with 2500 points I'm not motivated some said theirs is 500, or 1000. Mine was 1000 points for $5- amazon

Can't say that I am. I do do surveys for ePoll now and then. Have no idea how many points I have. Once in a blue moon I "cash out" for a few dollars or a Home Depot gift card.

I do ePoll too! Once in a blue moon I'd cash out for $5 Walmart.

I've been a long time member there but after they had horrible reward redemption before I quit. Now I've been back for a few months and eh. The point system is harder to earn.
