The album "Rhythm of the Saints" (one of my favorite albums) was released Oct 22, 1990 and uber talented singer / songwriter / musician Paul Simon showed everyone that he had even "Further to Fly!" “It was Simon's biggest-selling solo album to date.” (REF: kennedy-center.org/Artist/A3803) He has had an illustrious career and is considered worthy to be among those lauded as American Masters. (REF: pbs.org/wnet/americanmasters/paul-simon-about-paul-simon/705/)
Do you have a favorite Paul Simon song? (With or without Art Garfunkel.)

@cmoneyspinner Simon and Garfunkel were a big part of my youth. There are so many songs that I loved but I think my favourite was 'America'. I have their greatest hits on vinyl.

Happy to brag to my kids that he was a part of MY generation.

For Paul's solo hits, my favorite is "Gone At Last," the duet he did with the late Phoebe Snow. I have three S&G songs on my 100 favorites list: "Bridge Over Troubled Water," "The Boxer," and "My Little Town."

You left out "Sounds of Silence". Just kidding. That particular song was played over and over and over on the radio which means I heard it a lot because I could not live without my transistor radio. Your song choices are really cool! I heart Phoebe Snow as well.

Today I had "Hearts and Bones" going through my head all day. Probably my favorite is "The Boxer". But it's hard to say, there are so many.

I was never a Paul Simon fan. Some of the 60s S&G stuff is good. He's not for these new wave hard rock ears.

I do think I liked him better when he and Art Garfunkel performed together. I am not sure whether I can think of any of their songs that I didn't like. But I loved the intricacy of "Scarborough Fair/Canticle" and the way "America" made me feel I was riding the bus with the couple.
My feet would tap involuntarily to songs like "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard" (the version from the concert in Central Park.) I also loved "Homeward Bound," "Mrs. Robinson," "7 O'Clock News/Silent Night" and so many others...

Pretty much all the songs they performed together as Simon and Garfunkel, I liked. They are a part of the soundtrack of my teen years. I'll never let them go!
