My Mattress Arrived

They said the mattress would arrive between 10 and 2. I got the call just after 10 that they were a half hour away. I had it in my bedroom by 11 AM. Right now it's just laying on the floor. It really takes up a lot of the room as you can see above.
I also laid on it, and it is the ultimate in comfort. Nice and firm. I have a feeling my back problem days are at an end.
I also left and got some groceries my son needed and other items for the apartment. I think I'm done buying for the apartment now. I have everything I need, and once the rest of the furniture gets over here it will be perfect. Though I am wondering with the height of that mattress and the 14" frame height I have whether I'm going to need a stool to climb into bed from now on. I know with the other mattress it's a trick to get in and this mattress looks deeper. We'll see.
So now I'm here until I need to leave so my son can get to work later tonight. How's your day going so far? Thanks for reading.

i'm so tickled fer ya, hon! i'd the hubs build my momma a step down from her mattress 's well. poor dear said gettin' off 'twas easy, gettin' 'nto the bed not so much :) i hope that such does wonders fer yer back, that swimmin' y'ave started doin' ought'a help 's well.

I'm glad you're day is going well. Yes, I just might need to buy a stool for this one. Yes, swimming is great! I didn't go this weekend, too much to do this weekend, but I will this Saturday morning. I'm finding they're the best two hours of my day.

@just4him make sure that stool's a wide base, hon. i bet those're the best hours 'f yer day :) always makes one feel good to get movin' 'n that water by 'tself can be most therapeutic - not jest fer the body, but the mind 's well.

@crazyhorseladycx I love my time in the water. Those two hours seem to fly by and I can't wait to get out of the house and into the pool every morning. This morning I talked the whole time to one of the women there. We talked about everything and just tread water from one end of the pool and back again I don't know how many times. I also spend some time in the whirlpool. It really makes my knees feel good.

Glad you got your mattress and all is good. I haven't had any back issues since I got my new bed recently either. I love buying for a new place it's fun getting new furniture etc

My day is fine. Just put a white cake in the oven.
I'm jealouis about your new mattress. I really need a whole new bed. The one I'm sleeping on is my grandmother's old bed and she's been gone for yearrrrrrrrrrrs.The frame finally gave out, the wood's splintered in places.So now what I've got is like a "hillbilly" bed, lol.'so I need the whole thing, frame boxspring and mattress. I may see if there's a good frame at the thrift stores and just buy the mattress & box spring new. I really would like to find a bed with storage and a shelf for books at the head. That's what I liked about this one, it's got a little bookcase at the head.

When I bought my new sheets I made certain they would fit the depth of the mattress.
