Online friends true friends

Longtime ago I used to chat through yahoo chat and got some good friends online. Some of the online friends used to be true friends and I used to contact them through phone. Do you have online friends and do you think online friends can be true friends?

Some of my online friends from here are my FB friends too . Yes, of course online friends can be true friends specially when they get to meet each other and seal their bond of friendship with that visit .
