Do people really get the benefit of memory foam.

With so many products out there now have memory foam. What is this supposed to do for you.I bought a pair of sneakers with memory foam.Hate it.
Same as mattress. Are they saying the reconize your body when you hit the sack?
Also getting up to go to the bathroom and back.
this is a bit too much. Are really getting the benefit of memory foam.
Everything is memory foam.Another gimmick to get ahead.
Tell me your experience with the rage of memory foam.
I wonder if they have memory foam for our BVD

I am on my feet for several hours at a time when I work at my part-time job. I have two pair of shoes with memory foam and like them a lot. My feet are not as tired with them.

I bought some sneakers with memory foam and find them very comfortable and completly ugly. I decided to use them while I´m at home as I have polineuritis in my feet. Maybe they will hurt less. But I refuse to have ugly sneakers or shoes ALL the time.

@amadeo THey are comfortable so my feet don´t ache as much. But I will not wear everywhere as they are too ugly.

My MiL can't sleep without a memory foam mattress. I'm not fussed, but would rather not have one as they're not firm and I do like a rock hard mattress. If the shoes were pretty or quirky I wouldn't care if they were memory foam. :)

I've always slept well on it. One of my German girlfriend's had a bed of it.

We stayed at a rental last year that had a memory foam bed - we hated it. It was like trying to get out of a hot marshmallow. I bought a pair of sneakers with memory foam but I haven't worn them yet. It doesn't recognize your body or body parts - the memory part means it goes back to normal when you get out of it or take it off.

When my husband was still with me, we bought a new bedroom suite and a new mattress. We got a Tempurpedic with memory foam. I still have it and I love it. It doesn't remember me or anything but it's the most comfortable mattress on which I've ever slept. I've never gotten shoes or anything else with memory foam but I'll keep the mattress. It still looks and acts pretty new.

You step into a pair of shoes with foam stuff that fits to your foot? Isn't it squishy?

I'm with you, Alfredo, wondering what the big deal is all about. I wear Birkenstocks. They have cork incorporated above the sole and they form themselves to the sole of my foot, but they don't go back to flat when I take them off. They remember the shape of my foot! So maybe I should say they have memory cork, yes?
