Do you clear your notifications when you have responded?

I have found this is the only way I can keep on top of things as if they pile up I am sure to miss some.
When I returned a few days ago I didn't even realise I could delete old notifications but since I noticed that little cross at the end I have been clearing them regularly and feel far more organised.
What do you do?

I can tell by just one sentence when a person is British by their spelling 'organised' although I must admit I sometimes use the 'z' :)

@jaboUK Oh yes I keep all the 'u' spellings because they come automatically to me and I never think to change them. I always think the 'z' looks better for some reason.

@sprite1950 I resist using the z even though it seems to be the norm on sites like this, same as I keep the u in colour etc.

I guess it's whatever we find easiest. We are all different.

I have no idea you can delete notifications. Perhaps that is a good thing to do to be able to keep track of what you responded to and what you did not.

I think so. Since I've been deleting them I'm more organized.

Yes they are easy to miss when you are new to a site because there is so much to take in.

I did get too many and found I was missing some so I checked to see if I could delete them.

i also did not know I can clear the notifications until a friend here told me. Now, I delete after responding.and make sure nothing is left unattended before leaving.

That's way. Deal with them and delete them. I've tried other ways to keep track but I get mixed up. This works for me.

Yes I was getting mixed up and missing some. At least when I come back in the morning I know where I am.

Same as me. Then if I go out and come back again I know exactly where I am.

Same. It took me a while to realise I could clear like that, now I clear all just before I log out of myLot.

I used to get in such a muddle before but once I knew I could clear them I feel much more organised.

I always clear all my notifications by replying and checking all of them. Twice I let it go to 96. I always make sure they stay below 50.

Good thinking. It takes ages to delete them if you let them pile up.

I do the same basically. Once, I've replied to a notification, I go ahead and delete it. No sense keeping these old notifications.
