Favorite "Crazy" Songs #2 - "Let's Go Crazy"

#2 in my Favorite "Crazy" Songs series is a bona fide classic, Prince and The Revolution's 1986 hit "Let's Go Crazy."
Prince formed The Revolution in 1979 in Minneapolis, and despite their relatively short time together, (The Revolution only released two proper albums) they were one of the 80's' most acclaimed bands. Best known for their role as the band in Prince's Purple Rain movie, the group earned three Grammy Awards, selling millions of records in the process.
The exciting, energetic "Let's Go Crazy"was the opening tune from Purple Rain, and, if not for that movie's title track, would be Prince's signature song. "Let's Go Crazy" was an international smash, and reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song has sold, according to Wikipedia, nearly one-million copies in the United States alone, and has been covered by Incubus, Riverboat Gamblers, and in concert, by Green Day.
(Why not #1, you ask? This is a #1-caliber tune, after all. Simply, there's one "Crazy" song that I listen to more.)

I should have guessed this one was coming! #1 surely won't be Madonna's Crazy for You. Perhaps I will wager on Queen's Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Oh the suspense!

This very easily could have been #1. I just listen to #1 more often. But you're right. It's not Madonna!
