How many myloters are there?

There is no information available about the total number of myloters at present in this system. I want to know because, i am interested in making more friends. What percentage of friends i have is a measure of my popularity and skill of writing. Can we get it from any method?

There is a vast difference between the total number of registered myLotters and the number of active users. There are close to a million registered accounts.

@JolietJake I think 1,000,000 registered accounts is too many. myLot has been here for 10 years and will have to register 100,000 a year to reach 1 million. That's a lot I think.

@succeednow It may seem like a lot, but there were over 26,000 when I joined in late 2006...

@jayaramas I too am interested to know as to date how many members does myLot have. I can only hazard a guess. Perhaps 30,000 members.

I think member status isn't available. I am guessing more than 20K or so but only 2000 or so active members.

I have no idea how many there are. As for making friends, if you write good articles you will attract people to your posts.

I don't have any idea. In the old version, there is a counter for the total registered here. It is also can be sorted by countries.

I am totally unconcerned about the number of followers I have, many follow but never read so are useless.

No, we do not know and anyway it's not useful. You have to check the most recent discussions and follow those you judge interesting. When they see your comments they will decide if to follow you back.

I have no idea but I know there are a lot of myLotters. Not all are active, though.

Making lots of friends is nice but I'm not sure if it can be used as a measure of popularity and writing skills. Lots of people just "follow" one another but not actively interacting with them, in that case it wouldn't mean anything.

I have no idea, really. Some of our friends comments in our daytime and some are commenting in night time.

I would have guessed about 3000, but I see that JJ has given you a more accurate answer.
