The Revelation!

I'm so sorry it took me awhile to post the revelation in relation to my previous one, . And I'm sorry I kept all of you guessing what was the secret I have been keeping for a short time.
A few weeks back I've been searching for kittens. Then our secretary told me that her cousin has some cats in the house and she showed me the photos. They were exactly the breed that I was looking for and wanted to adopt the blue one. But I was told he's been reserved by her cousin's boss. So I chose the Calico as I learned that Calico cats are the luckiest cat.
For a week I was dying of anticipation of when to get them till I got the call last Sunday that the pet transport is on his way to pick up the kittens and send it by plane to my place. Then another call came that the Blue kitten is available again.
For not revealing the secret before it happens, lucky things happened! I got not one but two fur babies in the house now!
@Genipher came so close to the answer! Here you go.
But who would want to know? And why would I want to share it anyway. This secret though won't be a secret for too long. So why am I keeping it a secret?...

Oh, I'm so sorry you're allergic to them. Fortunately, nobody in the house is allergic to cats.

@toniganzon I do not think so, he loves the animals but he does not want pets in the house. I wonder if I can keep a kitty in the garden. I can arrange a protected area with a small house under our porch. May be.

Calicos are usually female right? It's a misfit if it's a male. So yes Sookie is her name.
The other one is Haiiro, Japanese for ash. He's a male kitten. And he's more friendly than the female one.

Yeah, it's highly unusual for a calico to be male.

@SIMPLYD I researched for names online lol! Sookie is Russian for Lily but I also learned it means unique. Calico cats are indeed unique since calico cat is like a three in one cat and they usually are female. A male calico is a misfit, a genetic malfunction and very rare to happen and when it does, that male calico is a sterile cat coz calico in males is like a disease, they're not health.
Haiiro is japanese for ash. When I first saw Haiiro in the photo I fell in love with his color. I later on learned that it's not ash grey but blue.

How are you going to toilet train them? Do the business outside or Litter box? I really wish Litter box will mainstream in the Philippines.

Too easy. I only trained them once and they immediately got it. After they ate, I introduced the litter box to them. That day they arrived to me, they used the litter box with no accidents round the house at all.
Don't let them wandering out of the house.

@CaptAlbertWhisker That's really sad! And they also don't know about neutering and spaying as well. Cats are highly fertile and could reproduce too fast.
I have read a lot of alternative to cat litter. One is a wood pellet we could get from a hardware. Another is a chicken feed booster. There's also the wood shavings. My friend is using an ordinary sand she got from her own backyard when she had her well dug.

@toniganzon I hope one day Cat liter will be cheaper in the Philippines so there will be more Cats here will have home. Most Filipinos hates cats and complain about their poop because they dont know what a litter box is.

Yep, finally. No dogs for me as of the moment. I'm still learning to be a cat person. Wish I could have as much knowledge about them as I do with dogs.

@Letranknight2015 I learned that my cats specific breed are similar to shih tzus and they can be trained like dogs which I am noticing they do behave like dogs and not cats.
I have a litter box and they're litter trained. I'm using a special cat sand and just scoop the poop out. I like that they don't make a mess of the house. I have to buy more toys for them though. They'll be sleeping in my room as soon I have them groomed at my friend's pet shop.

@toniganzon they have mood swings thats for sure and sometimes they can be attracted or be threatened by other cats. My last cat had this growl competition with other neighborhood cats that went for hours. there are times i had to drive the opposite cat away. but they are very sweet and quiet, their poop just stink.

My son is asthmatic but the cats have been with us for 6 days now and and he's ok. Same with the dogs before. They even sleep with him. Made my own research about that.

Oh they are. But now Sookie, the calico is with the vet. Haiiro stays with me. We have to separate them because the vet is going to breed Sookie and Haiiro is tomcat.
