I just can't stick to my plans

I want to go jogging, at least a few times a week if not every morning, I did not make it. I want to spend time writing at least a post a day and interacting here, I did not make it. I want to work on my freelance projects, I did not make it. I want to do some homeschooling lessons with my son, I did not make it. I want to do some activities with my elder children, I did not make it. What am I doing these days? I am doing what a mom should be doing - holding my baby, nursing him, washing the cloth diapers, cleaning the home, spending a little time with my elder children, going to the park with the children, etc. I am not complaining, I enjoy doing all these, but there are just so many things I have not been doing now. I wish I can manage my time better.

if you enjoy what your doing, i see no problem. just add one activity to the list for now. then as the baby gets older , add another activity. and so on.

Do you remember when I asked you if you were sure you would have been able to do all the things you had planned? I knew it was impossible.

I try to break big things down into smaller parts, and get little parts done if nothing else

May be rather than doing planning so many things you can concentrate on few and work on them .

You're too hard on yourself. If you are a mother taking care of young children...that in itself is 'Making It'. Sure, there is nothing wrong in wanting to do better...but if you can't...it's ok...not being able to do something does not discount the fact that u are trying.

Time management is the key. Of course, a mother's life ain't easy. You do what you can with the time and resources that you have. Don't stress. you'll soon figure out how to juggle all those activities in your waking hours.

Oh ya, being a mom is very taxing and hats off to moms who manager other things so tactfully, me too have never found time to do so many things, one being my most celebrated hobby - tailoring. I have taken out a dress material and lying beside the sewing machine for days together. I can understand your situation and I also hope to find enough time to so many things which I enjoy. thumbs up for us

Being a mother is a full time job, so don't feel guilty if you have no time for other things.

Well, I don't have children yet but I understand what you are feeling. We have lots of things we want to do but so little time, and sometimes it makes us feel so unaccomplished if we cannot do them all. I think we should set one task per day and try to stick to it and see how it works out. :)

You're managing your time well. It's difficult to take care of children, especially baby.

Being a mom is an full time job. Its amazing you can half of what you want done in a days time ;) when my kids was younger I did it while they was taking naps or down for the night. Providing I had the energy too ;)
