Do you even thought of making internet your full-time job?

Many of us here have real life jobs, which is obvious. Some people are retired here so myLot is a good addition and stuff. Other here are teenagers, which this is the best for them, since they don't have a work, and using their online time somehow usefully instead of playing those games all the time (although that could be useful for streamers too). My question was, have you ever thought of making real money on the internet? As your full-time job? Many people are earning over 300$ monthly which is more than good in my opinion.. Of course not in myLot, but in general have you thought of using the internet in a somehow different light? And if you have, what would be the job that you seek to work online on? Translation services, Writing articles and blogging, SEO? Other Freelance jobs? Or maybe doing re-selling? I know many people that are making enough for a living for 1 person, and still have some extra in their balance, by working online. But their jobs are however some that are not my special thing and i'm not really trained in that field. By the way, working online is not always recognizable as we know it.. It can mean sometimes working a real-life job for a real company, but just doing it via internet aka: online.

I would want to earn $2000 per month before I would consider quitting my day job. It would have to be a real job for a real company with a real salary.

@supervalon I am going to stick with going to work. My part time jobs are flexible so it works for me. I earn a little extra for one online writing site but only when I have extra time on my hands. Good luck to you if you are trying to find on line work.

@carebear29 The point is, where, when, to whom? There are many different variations in this answer.. You are talking about working on sites like Infobarrel, Bubblews (which i prefer) or opening a brand new blog site?

I know some people who do work online (work as in making enough to live on). I would like to, but other than trying to get my novel ready for publishing, there is a site where people pay for writers, and I signed up before I earned my degree and it was hard to find something since my writing skills were not good. Now, I might be able to write articles for pay, I just haven't had the motivation to try it again.

@supervalon I had to look it up, I always forget the name. It's textbroker and before classes I was one step down from being able to write at all levels (they have jobs for different writing levels, the better the writing, the more jobs and some are higher pay) The problem isn't that I can't, it is that I don't care for that kind of writing. The one article I did was to research and review a product, so it isn't as easy as one might think, because if the one buying your article thinks the grammar or spelling is not good or the writing itself, they don't pay. Besides, I much prefer to write fiction.

@Carmelanirel2 I feel you, writing is not easy as people think that is. 5 minutes ago before checking myLot and writing this reply, I was writing an article on Infobarrel, with a correct punctuation, capitalization, abbreviations, and If you believe me it took me more than 20 minutes. 886 words, over 4,000 characters. This article gets denied too, I will stop trying there. At the moment i'm verifying my mail for a registration on HubPages. Heard that there's a good earning also.

Come on, my writing skills are not on an expert level, but i think i'm capable of making a decent amount on those kind of sites.. You should try it again, especially after your degree was awarded to you then it means you have surely improved. By the way on which site did you register?

I don't believe I would want a real full time job on the internet. I enjoy doing it for fun. My son works online, he makes excellent wages but I can tell you it's a hard job.

Yes, friend, i do believe you. Thanks for sharing your experience.. When people think of making online they always think of easy green rolling in, but you actually do a REAL job up there.. So i understand your son.. So, by the way, what is he doing specifically?

@RubyHawk That's so cool, it might be hard, but going once a week it's better than being a plain worker.

I have never thought of that. Some internet earning sites are scams and they can easily disappear.

For 6 months, I considered my remote projects on Upwork as a full time job. I drafted & reviewed legal documents for clients, and I did legal & general translation of documents, brochures, banners, websites and apps. My per hour rate on Upwork is even higher than my rate here in the Law/Accounting Firm. Sometimes, pay on remote jobs are even higher than one's pay in a big Firm.

I did not qualify for Upwork sadly, i don't know but i remember not having good bonds with that site.. I'm pretty active on Fiver tho but it's so hard getting noticed as a new user.. I will stick to the writing sites, or those PPV (Pay per View).

I can't even earn $50 a month, so I guess it is now still impossible to be in full time working here. If I got that $300 monthly, I think I will.

Yeah, you can make that much of amount, 50$.. 300$ you really need some high-quality jobs, even tho you can do that with writing.. Not on myLot certainly tho.
