Many responded to my question about the piano. Much appreciated. Lots of music lovers here at myLot. YAY! Sharing this music video link. It's from the soundtrack for “Brave Heart”. Ever watched that movie? Mel Gibson was at his best in that one! It's a true story, embellished for Hollywood, of course. Thought the piano lovers here might also enjoy this relaxing piano music accompanied by a Chinese flute. I like flute music also. Especially the pan flute (also known as panpipes). My favorite pan flutist is Zamfir. My hubby likes harp music. [i](We all know the harp can soothe an angry beast or a troubled soul. That's why, in the Bible, David played the harp for King Saul.) He found some very pretty pieces on YouTube. When it comes to relaxing music which do you prefer? Piano, flute, or harp?

@cmoneyspinner Since I've played the piano professionally for over 20 years, I'm partial to the piano. But one day I'd love to play the harp

If you play the harp, make sure if there is someone in your audience wearing red, they should not be where you can see them. One time, I was at a shopping mall and there was a harpist playing out in open. It was a free concert. I was standing in the front of the crowd, wearing a red dress. The lady was playing and playing and I was enjoying and enjoying. Then I noticed her squinting her eyes. She looked up at me and “Oh miss! Could you please move over a little. You red dress is blending into the red string on my harp and I can't see it.” I was sort of embarrassed but I moved over and she continued playing. The music was wonderful. Red is my favorite color. But I must remember if I'm going to listen to a harpist play, I should make sure they don't see me in the audience.

It's a good preference. Bruce Hornsby (of Bruce Horsnby and the Range) attended the University of Miami, my alma mater. Of course, we didn't attend at the same time. He doesn't know me and I don't know him. But there was another girl who did know him and she called her mom to let her know that he was now making and selling his own music and was going to be on television. So her mom watched him and then let her daughter know that she saw him on TV. She says: “Yes! I did see him and guess what? He had perfect piano posture!” Boy! Talk about somebody who has an eye for detail!

Those instruments are very different one from another, I like the piano most, but I also like the panpipe, while I am not a fam of the harp.

I like music, and to choose which one i like best, maybe i would say the piano. It is the most usual one. Like i know about five people in the neighborhood who knows how to play the piano. But i think it is interesting to learn how to play the harp.

My grand daughter is 8 years old. She has been playing the flute in the youth orchestra here for going on three years. I love listening to her play. The flute is such a beautiful instrument.

On my first trip to Puerto Rico, I walked into a shop in Old San Juan, looking for a gift to bring home to my husband. The background music in the store the owner was playing was called “Flute Music from the Antilles” or something like that. Unfortunately, it was his own music he had gotten from somewhere else and he was not selling it in his store. To this day I haven't been able to find that music. It was so beautiful. Left a lasting impression.
