Maybe, I will consider a Nursing Home

The daughter is a nurse before she changed her career.
One time she came home after a day's work she was quite upset. She gave me a hug and said. "I will never put you in a nursing home."
She had an assignment in the nursing home and she obviously observed how the geriatric residents are being cared for there.
But I am realistic. Everyone of us will face our Creator one day and we can't foresee our situation then. I don't want to be a burden to my children, they are not responsible for my care unless when the time comes and they want to care for me.
Only up to a certain time. When I become so demented and grumpy, when I forget who they are, that is the time for me to wait for my time...in a nursing home.
Have you thought about the inevitable yet? Do you expect your family to look after you?

No . Perhaps i will also consider being in a nursing home . God will pave the way for us to be safe when that time comes .

Yes, I am also thinking about it,and just wish my children will have some time to look after me; if not, I wish someone like a caregiver will be there to assist me.

the nursin' homes here 're shameful :( i'd rather take my own life than go to one...'n i don't believe'n that sorta thingy. but, i've thought 'bout such, particularly when i fell so ill some years back. a horrifyin' thought that i'd be put 'nto such, doped 'p 'n neglected. but, i don't 'xpect the family to look 'fter me. i'm purty certain that none'd wish to do such, they sure disappeared when i was ill anyhow.
