Wildflowers of Western Australia - Part I

A few weeks ago we travelled through part of Western Australia visiting areas that had good collections of wildflowers. I have been through most of our photos now and there are a great number of them. I've decided to create three slide-shows of them so that the clips won't be quite so long. This one shows flowers that are mostly shades of white/yellow/orange. I'll do another of flowers in shades of pink or red and a third one of blue flowers and miscellaneous images. I'm sure you don't want to know the names of all of the flowers and I don't know all the names anyway. However this video starts with spider orchids, then donkey orchids with the big 'ears' then a shot of snail orchids. There is then a banksia on its own and in its tree, and two shots of wattles (acacias) then a variety of bits and pieces. I hope you enjoy seeing them. Most of the photos were taken by Vin but some are my own shots.
I created this video with the YouTube Slideshow Creator (http://www.youtube.com/upload)

I haven't been able to preview the photos and music for ages but tonight it's all working again. I've no idea what I did differently - if anything. I just had to hope the music was sort of suitable :)

Thanks. It's been a bit of a task as we took way too many. Thank heavens for digital cameras!

The ones you mention were stunning. I couldn't resist putting two photos of the expanse. I think I put two. :)

Your wildflowers are prettier than ours, well some of them are. Wildflowers are my absolute favorite things.

Some of ours are tiny and insignificant - at least until you get close to them or blow them up on film.
