Work like a Cow

Since I graduated from a university, I had worked like a cow. It seems that there is no another day. I have my own reason why it should be like this. My family was being nibbled by my father side’s siblings. It was a tough time and promised to myself to work like a cow for the sake of the family. I had done so many stunts in my life and forgive these nibblers. I am sure some of you have all the reasons to work hard. Do you work like a cow?

@silvermist I want to travel and have my own business. But I also wanted to continue working in an international NGO.

I work like a b1tch...cows don't do much except eat grass and get turned in to burgers

Your title caught my attention. I've heard expressions about work like a dog, a horse or even a beaver but this is the first time with regards to a cow. I'm guessing you use this metaphor because you feel your uncles/aunts are using you as a "milking cow". or as we say in the vernacular, they are "palamunin"?
