It's Been a Busy Week-end. Time for Bed

It’s been a busy week-end. My niece and her family visited this week-end and we had a cookout yesterday at my granddaughter’s house. WE didn’t get home until after 11PM last night. I was exhausted but it was a FUN day, visiting with my niece and her family. We hadn’t seen them for a couple months. Her boys are getting so tall. The kids all had fun jumping on the trampoline, something I worry about, that someone will get hurt. But, that’s just me. The kids also played “kick the can” after it got dark. They have a huge back yard and the kids had lots of places to hide. And they all had their flashlights. We had some really good food to eat. My granddaughter’s husband cooked hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. I ate one hot dog. But, there was baked beans, which I had brought, some delicious potato salad that my granddaughter had made, corn on the cob and several desserts. We also played some trivia games indoors when the kids were playing outside. And just had a good time, talking and laughing about different stories that were shared. Today, I attended a religious meeting and then stopped by the Burger King for a Caramel Frappe. I LOVE that drink. Brought it home and enjoyed it while playing some HEARTS on my iPad and then took a short nap, until my daughter called and woke me up. She wants me to “babysit” her 13 year old grandson tomorrow morning, so he will be coming early. I will say “good night” or “good morning”, whichever applies to my myLot friends around the world. I hope everyone had a great week-end and I hope that "all is well" in your part of the world.
