Since I started to find a job, I always consider a dead-end job. I cannot afford to stay at a company of not having the chance to walk through to a better job position. This is also one thing why some people continued to file their resignation letter because they feel nothing will happen with the in the company. Can we blame them? I think it is not. Why? They are trying to have career development and self-advancement. Image Credit: pixabay.com

I am old school having worked for over forty years. Never been unemployed and looked for safe pastures. I wanted to learn all the time and saw to it I was always employable. It is necessary that companies offer good prospects to those who work for them and are merit based with regular, impartial, appraisals - siva

It is better for the companies to know the importance of social responsibility and welfare of their employees. Sad to say, not all companies think about this simple logic.

I can truly understand if you want to advance and there is no chance then why stay at the job. It makes perfect sense to me.

I had done this for a couple of times, my friend. After a long search, I finally found a good niche job. But still. I wanted to be connected in an international NGO again.

You are right, you must find a job where you can reach a better position. You can stay in a temporary job until you find something better, but do not stop searching.

I do agree on that. It takes a lot of effort to reach self-fulfillment.

From my perspective, any job is better than no job in the worst case possible, but you should always look to find a job you can progress in.
