My daughter and I were both winners of the summer reading programs

I told you all about other prizes my daughter has won over the summer for the reading programs at the libraries. Her most recent win was a $20 Staples gift card. We went and looked around Staples and were shocked how high the prices were. She wound up buying a set of pens, post it notes and a bag of skittles for $11.47. We will have to go back another time to spend the rest. I got a call last week telling me that I was the prize winner of the adult summer reading. I asked how many winners there was and she said just one. I had no idea what the prize was until I got there. There was only about 14 entries and 5 or 6 of them were mine! I was shocked to win honestly as that isn't many books compared to what I normally read. This did give me more of an incentive to read over the summer though! If you remember my post from before about entering this adult summer reading program you know it was travel themed but we could also read any book to enter. I added a photo of the prize which you can see are travel themed as well. I am giving my man the sign for his wall and I gave my children the globes as they loved them. I think the cutest part of the whole prize was the bow they added to the top of the prize basket. They cut it out of a map and made it!
