This is the time I always want to get up, anytime after 4am. Before I was pregnant, I always woke up around 3:30am. It's a good time for me to do some work and also have some personal time while the children are still sleeping. When I was pregnant, as I was not feeling so well and always feeling tired, so I didn't get up early often. Moreover, I knew I needed more rest. Now that my baby can sleep better at night, and I am feeling more energetic, whenever possible, I still get up anytime after 4am. Anyway, I am always taking an afternoon nap together with my baby, so I will always get more sleep later. I was actually disturbed by mosquitoes again. I nursed my baby just now, and went back to sleep, as it was just 3:30am, and I felt sleepy. An hour later, the mosquitoes woke me up. What time do you usually wake up?

When my daughter was a baby I would stay up until about 3am listing things for sale on ebay then she would sleep until about noon and I would get up for the day at that point then lay down with her at 2pm for a nap. She only took naps until she was about a year old though.

I used to stay up late and wake up late too. Only since a few years ago, before my second child was born, I realized that my health would get better if I sleep early, and I seem to have more time too. So, I slowly convert to be a morning person.

I am not a morning person so living here and having to get up at 6am for 7am breakfast has never been easy for me and 8 years later its still not easy.

Why do you need to get up so early for breakfast? Can't they just reserve the breakfast for you, and you wake up anytime as you wish? I don't think I'd like to wake up so early if I am retired or when my children have grown up.

I usually wake up between 3-4am every day. My body starts aching and I have to get up. Like you, I also take a nap in the afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your pain. Is it because you have slept for too long, then your body starts aching?

@kaka135 Yes, that is what happens. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Yes, but what to do? We just have to live together with them.

Same here. I always try to wake up very early now so that I can have some me time. Sometimes I would like to sleep more.

@Hannihar Yes, because my kids are still very young. I suppose I would like to have more "kids-time" when they grow older.

I've been waking up between 5:30 and 6:00 a.m. I go to bed early just like I did when I was working, so I get up early. Just old habit.
