Choosing The Right Hair Cut

I've been looking through the internet trying to find the perfect hair cut. My hair is fine and while some of the ones I've seen might work I am still undecided. I may just have to wait until I get to the salon and then decide. I did see a lot of hair styles I wouldn't let Edward Scissorhands give my dog. Mostly on celebrities. I wish someone would tell that Ginnifer Goodwin how bad her pixie looks. And what's with all the bobs? That is the worst and ugliest hair cut ever and whoever came up with it should be shaved bald! Just some normal non-celebrity hairstyle photos. Is that too much to ask?

Luckily I'm past the age of worrying too much over my hair style. My hair is very fine too and only wants to all fall forward over my face. I'm growing it now so eventually I'll be able to tuck it behind my ears.

Part of the reason I want to get my hair done is because I'm taking a new position at work where I'll be more visible to the guests. I need to be presentable and can't keep my hair in a messy ponytail anymore. Works for cleaning rooms, not so much for greeting guest at dinnertime!

@irishidid That's very true. It's marvellous what a difference a really good cut can make.

As my sister always said to me it always helps to have the right person doing your hair and that knows what to do with your hair type as well.I have naturally curly hair which I hate but the people that do my hair knows how to do it and I come away liking it once it is done.

I think every hair type has its own challenges but I agree about finding the right person. Mine is fine and straight.

@irishidid What I would do if you have not already done so is call around and talk to different places tell them you need someone that knows about your hair type and can give you some tips and styles to do for your hair.If you have a place you already go to talk to them tell them what you need and want or get suggestions from them.

I laughed at your comment about Ginnifer Goodwin's pixie cut. She is playing Snow White in the "Once upon a time" so why the hell is she wearing her hair like that. As for your haircut, it would depend on your face shape, if it is oval then you are quite lucky, most haircuts work with oval face shapes.

I don't have anything against the pixie but it does not work for her at all.

No that is not to much to ask for. I think the bobs hair cut are not that good looking for women.

Which haircut do you prefer? A long hair or short and pixie one? I just had my haircut last week and I copied this one. I believe as I grow older, I need a short nice hair rather than a long one.

I think it's more important to find the right barber or hair stylist.
