You will Never Believe What I Did! Cayenne Pepper Instead of Cinnamon

I had a huge container of organic applesauce in the fridge (that we made from our own apples and I thought that it would be the perfect snack... some applesauce and a piece of toast. While I like it with cinnamon mixed in, I thought that I would add some myself. That is where the mistake occurred. Instead of cinnamon, I added a healthy shaking of cayenne pepper to the sauce. I never bothered looking at the shaker. It looked the same to me!! I wonder if anyone else will notice?? I wondered why my tongue was beginning to burn lol! Hey, both spices began with a "C"!

A spicy-hot spice. But it's really good for the body, as it has anti-inflammatory properties.

@ModernDayWriter Is what too hot? The human body? Or the applesauce Shirley posted about? I guess either way the answer would be no. Though I wouldn't expect many people to want to put cayenne pepper in their applesauce...

I thought I was adding hot apple syrup to custard once but it was actually melted dripping. That was pretty gross too! So you're not the only one.
