Another Month Ending

I just can’t believe how fast this month has gone by. Labor Day weekend is coming up next weekend. Many people will be traveling for a final summer vacation. I hate to think how many people will be on the road traveling. I will be staying home.
The news reported that Labor Day weekend is one of the most traveled weekends in the USA. Many will be flying and the airports will be jammed. Many will be driving and the roadways will be bumper-to-bumper. None of that appeals to me. I’m glad to stay home. I avoid holiday traveling.
And then, school will be starting here. School has already started in other counties of Virginia and also in other states, I guess. At least, I hope that the fall season will bring some cooler weather. I’m tired of the hot days of summer.
Of course, winter is not that far away and I don’t look forward to winter either. It just seems like the year flies by and the seasons change so quickly. I hope we have a LONG fall season. It’s my favorite time of the year.

Yes I've been here al ot and have almost $16 so far. Sept. I'll be starting from the start of the month, so I should make at least $20. Well, might not be here as much though, I'm going to start article writing too.

I hope that everyone likes to read what I write but I really don't get that many responses. As I've said before though, I have another purpose in writing my articles and saving them in my documents. I will use them to publish a book on my memoirs for my grandchildren.

My first month here and I did. I am excited about that. I am sad to see summer coming to an end. I like the fall of the year but I dread Old Man Winter making an appearance in the not too distant future. I hate to see it come but what can you do?

I sometimes wish that I could be a "snow bird" like some people are. They go south for the winter months and go north for the summer months. That would work very well for me, I think.

Yes, school will start here in this county this coming Tuesday. It has already started in some other counties.
