What are Hillary Clinton and her people afraid of?

For some reason, more likely thousands of reasons, Hillary Clinton is hiding out, staying as far away as possible from the press and anyone who might ask her any uncomfortable questions. Hillary is rarely seen or allowed anywhere other than at small, controlled venues where the press isn't allowed and questions aren't asked, or she's at some fundraiser in the Hamptons mingling with billionaire donors and far-left Hollywood celebrities. What is she afraid of? What are her managers and handlers afraid of? What do they know that we don’t know? Even the debates are scheduled to bring in the smallest possible audiences, put up against holidays or NFL football games. Remember good old Debbie Wasserman Schultz, fired DNC chairman, who played dirty when scheduling the primary debates, all to limit Bernie Sanders’ exposure when he became too popular for their purposes? Obviously, Hillary and hubby Bill have much to hide from us after decades of corruption, and it’s simply too risky to expose her to anything but safe, Clinton-friendly events. Rather cowardly me thinks. Image: Pixabay

She's letting the Donald do all the talking. Reminds me of my Grandmother - " give an inch, he'll take a mile; give him a rope and he will hang himself". Obviously, I don't think Hillary is hiding. This is not her first rodeo, and she realizes people are tired of this constant campaigning. Most people, like yourself, have already decided their vote.

Actually, I haven't decided my vote. All I know right now is I will not vote for Hillary. In fact, I may not vote for anyone this time.

@LindaCPearson. Wow, so many people are saying they won't vote. I didn't vote for years - why bother?. When my daughter was 7-8 years old she started talking about voting, candidates, etc. Soooo... It all started because her class had these mock elections

@sherryericha It is very sad but I definitely won't vote for Clinton and I really don't think I could vote for Trump either. I'm not really interested in the third party candidates. Pretty slim pickings this election.

That might be a mistake. People are noticing and who knows perhaps she isn't well?

@LindaCPearson Because of the extremely high media attention, why yesterday I was researching how to plan a novel and came across someone's blog on the subject. Even though it was dedicated to just writing there in the corner was something the person had written about Trump. Geez. It's everywhere. I think I will hide from it but want to watch any debates where those two get together. Do you know when that might be?

Very true. I think she's hiding from the public for many reasons and only appears when absolutely necessary.

Yes and it seems that the Donald is gaining back some of the lost ground so the playing field will be a little more even.

@LindaCPearson I think he was appealing to his base but of course, it was not going to appeal to many Latinos.

@BelleStarr He needs to broaden his base a lot to have any chance of winning. I'm all for getting criminals out of the country but I'm also for showing some humane solutions to the people already here for generations, especially with kids.

It did seem like he was gaining some ground, especially after the meeting in Mexico yesterday. Then last night I think he may have lost some ground with his too tough immigration speech.

After what seems many, many months, your elections are actually getting much closer.

Just a little over 2 months. I remember thinking last summer (2015) when it all started that the election was so far off. At this point, I still have no idea what will happen, who will win.

She doesn't have to do anymore than she is doing to win in November. Raise money and let the united front of the liberal biased vicious media and Hollywood and often violent liberal zealot haters do her work. It is quite a successful strategy. Even if she gave a press conference a day, all the questions would be fawning softballs.

The liberal media is actually starting to make me sick. They are relentless in their interrogations and intimidation of Trump supporters whom they invite as guests on their shows and then pummel them.

@LindaCPearson Seriously, where is this taking place? I watch A LOT of news and I see the exact opposite. Donald gets a free ride at every turn.

Speaking of violence, it seems to me it's been Donald's supporters who have been roughing up protesters, including a 69 year old woman who was using oxygen, and it's been Donald himself making pointed remarks some may take as suggesting should exercise their 2nd Amendment rights against Hillary.

First I'd like to point out that the general election debates are scheduled and run by a non-partisan debate commission and that the candidates have nothing to do with it, in fact the schedule was tentatively set before the nominating process had ended so they didn't even know who the participants would be. I don't think Hillary is afraid of anything or anyone and I think she's proven that over and over throughout the past three decades of her detractors digging to find something - ANYTHING - to pin on her. She made it through countless Senate and Congressional Benghazi hearings, some of which were admittedly according to GOP Congressmen for political purposes, including one where she sat through 11 hours of relentless bullying. Her most recent Republican predecessors at Secretary of State both said it's been a "witch-hunt". Thanks to Citizens' United, ruled on by the conservatives in the Supreme Court, candidates have no choice other than to fund-raise. That should be overturned but for now it's what all candidates have to deal with. Everyone doesn't get billions of dollars worth of free airtime like Donald has been getting since the day he announced. Some people are suited for large rallies in large venues and some are more comfortable in smaller, more intimate settings. One thing that's undeniable is that Hillary's events are far more substantive than Donald's repeated, mostly false sound-bites. She's given many interviews in many mediums and now, unlike Donald, has a press crew traveling with her on her campaign plane. (Donald makes those covering his campaign follow behind in a separate plane.) So now everywhere she goes she has members of the hostile media such as Andrea Mitchell with her. She dealt with Matt Lauer's ridiculously biased questioning during NBC's Commander-In-Chief Forum a couple weeks ago. Finally, the bottom line is in many cases Hillary Clinton isn't seen or heard as often as her blustery opponent because the media chooses to ignore her unless they have something negative to report.

Gee, wouldn't that just be awful...lol? I'm sorry, that sarcasm wasn't directed at you, Kristen, but at the Trump people who always have some sort of conspiracy theory to spread around.

America's gotten soft if we're advocating for a coward like her to be our next commander and chief. I've been saying that she has no fortitude, leadership or strong sense of self, and it's showing. And yet people are still on "that Clinton Hype." I think I'm done with this...I'm now apathetic towards Hillary, and I wonder how long it'll be until I get apathetic owards Trump...?
