I don't mind eating inside a jeepney. I sometimes do that. After my session. I always went to 7/11 to buy my all time favorite Siopao asado. I like it when it is very hot and I put a lot of ketchup inside it.
I don't mind people gaping their eyes on me as long as I am very pleased with what I am eating.
How about you?

When I was around 30 years old, I went to Paris with my husband for the first time. We did not have money for restaurants, so we bought a baguette, some cheese and a bottle of water. We were eating once in the steps of the Louvre and I was thrilled that the passer bys said "bon appetit". Who said that the parisian weren´t adorable?

No, it's not allowed to chow down on public transportation where I live. Do you get a lot of people eating on your bus?

People here sell food on buses in every terminal in all regions of the whole country. In a way it helps tourism, it helps promote a particular delicacy or food that is native to the place and it provides jobs.
Filipinos are also very concerned of love ones going hungry on long travels so special loving food is always packed for them and adding more by buying in the terminals when we send them off, it's a way of showing love and courtesy.

That's one thing I could not imagine myself doing .. But then again I hardly use public transport .. I can't see myself eating while walking like other people do either .. I have to sit down somewhere steady .. lol ..

I don't eat in public transit coz people stare and it becomes awkward. lol I have eaten on a long train journey though. It has its own charm and I kind of like it. Nostalgic!

I've done that too. I don't mind people eating in public transport, but over here, hot foods and smelly food are not allowed on public transport. We just follow the rules of other countries, so I eat my hotdog while walking to the station or while waiting for the bus or train.

@JustBhem I don't mind nibbling on snacks on buses or trains but I wouldn't ever eat something bigger and messy just in case I made a mess.

Here in our city. We can eat wherever we want as long as we clean our mess.
