This was a tv show that started in 1958 and ran until 1964. It was about two womanizing detectives. Efram Zimbelist Jr. (played Stu Bailey)whose daugther went on to be in Remington Steele. And, Roger Smith(Jeff Spencer) who later married Ann Margaret. The two detectives had once been government agents. Edd Byrnes played a beetnick type who was always coming his hair. Do you older guys and gals remember watching this show?

I do remember it and also Efram Zimbelist Jr, but would not have remembered the character names. I can remember the taxi driver called Kim because our dog was also called Kim.

I watched it every week, living only 35 miles south of Sunset Strip. Edd Byrnes played Kookie and there was a hit song that arose from it called "Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb." Connie Stevens sang it and was in the show. Efrem Zimbalist went on to star in FBI on Sunday nights for years.

Yes, I recall that stuff as well. Had forgotten Connie sang the song though. Wasn't Efram in the movie about the Black Dahlia as one of the detectives?
