Social media. The internet can be a great place or an awful dark place. When the disturbances are day in and day out. One can just get use to the routine. We already know that there's going to be some sort of drama. Already know that there will be trolling. There's some fun places. Those places where the civilized ones are in one corner. The way things are set up now. May be hard to find such civilized individuals. The internet being filled with envy. If they're going through troubles then they will come online and toss their frustrations on someone. For some coming online is like watching a horror movie. The Jason's and Michael Myers are all over the web. The racist and insane lurk about trying to see who they can shake up. If one isn't careful. The online world can consume the mind with junk. Somethings have to be tuned out. There will be a lot of blocking going on. Not talking about football. Deleting the trolls. Amazing how some view cyberspace as a place to hate.

I've been blocked A LOT here lately. In most cases I know why it was but one in particular annoys me as I've no idea where it comes from. The people I've been blocked by are, in my opinion, thin skinned idiots who can't stand to be disagreed with however polite that disagreement was. I'd suggest they have no place on a discussion site...they should find an agreement site where everyone agrees with whatever you say I've never blocked anyone anywhere and I never will...I don't care how much abuse I get I'm quite capable of ignoring it

I have only ever blocked someone who seemed to be a creepy stalker. ...it is easier for people to hate behind computer screens...the consequences of even offending someone is minimum. It is the easiest thing to do...compassion takes work....and most really don't care.

One Golden Rule is "Don't Feed the Trolls"! At least, here, if you see what you think is a troll and report it, Admin will deal with it pretty quickly if he agrees with you. Either report the post or send a PM to @goaskalice about the person and it will be dealt with.

I have made some places like Facebook a peaceful place to go because I got rid of the racist bullshit long ago. The only thing is if someone infiltrates a group I'm in. Too many people like to play with these jerks. I don't. I'll block them and/or get out.

I don't block the trolls in fb, I just delete them as my fb friends.
