A Smile That Will Never Fade Away

It was a sunny day and I saw faces brighter than the sun. I could never think of a visit to the construction site near my college as a moment of delusion. The moment we entered the place we were surrounded by 20 of those kids. I had never met them before even then it felt like I had been with them before. One of them held my hand and she walked with me everywhere I went. There was an unusual feeling of happiness inside me, but what did she feel. Did she feel the same? It felt as if she was asking me to take her away from this place. Why would I feel that?

I thought it was a very good smile that fadeth not away. I am happy for you for having the feeling of happiness inside you. The person who held your hand might also be feeling good inside her and thought that you are someone she can trust. Anyway, there are circumstances that comes our way that we feel good about it. What happened to you today, is one of those wonderful circumstances. There may be more coming your way. Be of good cheer.

No they stay there. These children live in the construction site with their families.

Yes they live there. I used to go there to spend time after my classes.

I thought maybe they were beggars or orphans but I've read the comments now. It would have been a lovely feeling to feel that this child had chosen you for a friend for a little while.

You felt as though you were making a change in this child's life. Sometimes we just connect with people and I am sure it was a comfort for her to have you walk with her. Some children enjoy the affection but other children are more distant.

Well as far as your first feeling is concerned,i must say that she did feel the same which is why she had chosen you to wander with.Feelings have a tendency to coincide & if we take that into account in your case,your second feeling can be a true possibility.
