What Would You Say to a Ghost?

If you encountered a ghost, what would you say to him or her? Please don't be too transparent with your answers. Be completely honest. Don't sheet, I mean cheat, with your responses. Enlighten me. Come on and move me. But don't pull the rug under me while I'm not looking. Okay, enough with the corny ad libs. Really, what would you say to a ghost?

In my younger years of innocence about these things, I used to believe there is a ghost, which is what we believe is someone who is scary or looks scary. However, as I grow older, especially knowing God in a personal way, I don't believe there are ghosts that we used to believe. What I know is that there is a Holy Ghost who is the Spirit of God who is our comforter and guide. This is my personal philosophy so I hope it can be accepted as such and not to initiate a debate. Thank you very much for your kind understanding.

You are not alone in believing that ghosts do not exist. However, there are things that happen in life that are hard to explain.

I've never seen a ghost, but I have seen a couple times where things were turned on without anyone doing it.

First, I would say "hello". They like when you acknowledge them. Well, half of them do. The other half get scared when they realize you've seen them and they 'wink' out.
What would you say?

Well since I have talked to a few of them. I usually say hi first,lol then when they start becoming annoying like this one did I asked them what they wanted,lol.

@zebra2222 I lived in a house that actually was orginally owned by my great uncle and he passed away there. That was one of my first encounters. He never scared me or bothered the kids but he was very annoying doing things like moving my knick nats around and hiding my keys and every time I'd alright uncle Paul I know its stop it I'd hear a door slamm,lol. he was quit the character when I told my grandma about it she said yeah that sounds like him

Dear ghost, please don't hurt me. You can stay here in the house but please be invisible. I don't want to get scared in the middle of the night when I am walking alone.
This is what I have said to the ghost living in my house. Don't laugh. I have really said that.

After I got done screaming I would probably ask them who they are and what they want? I would want to know more about them. I would hope that it would be a friendly ghost and not a mean and evil one.

Occasionally I catch glimpses of things that might or might not be spirits and I just say "Hey, ghosties!" and go on about my business.

we do have one here in the school house.We named him Jacob.Now and then I see shadows of him.
shuts of the TV now and then.Put it back on.We had Jacob for over 45 years.He is our protector.
when I see the shadow I say hello.

After I get over my frozen state of fright... I guess I will simply just stare. I used to be scared a lot before but for the past two years, I've come across books that somehow boosted the brave in me. So I am less afraid now. I don't know what I will ask though. Have to encounter a real ghost to know that.
