Here what I did to get rid of stack player at no cost to me

What I did was I reset my laptop kind of using the recovey button with losing any
of my photos or files and it works. I all so uploaded avast on my pc. I all ways have good luck with this on my android. I uploaded opera browser that now comes with a ad blocker build in. So far so good.

Glad you got it sorted...but I think you should still maybe look at revo uninstaller as it is free and does a better job than the windows uninstaller.
