Series Cancellation

One of my favorite TV series is coming to an end next week - Beauty & the Beast. I started watching it on a recommendation from Marie @Tampa_girl7 a couple years ago and really love it. Now after four seasons, the last episode is next week. I'm bummed. On the other hand, another recommended series is still going strong and will return September 25 - Once Upon a Time. I don't watch a lot of television, so I'm really going to miss the one and am thankful for the other still going strong. Have any of the shows you're currently watching seen a series cancellation? Now since I need to be up early and in the pool, I'm saying good night. Thanks for reading.

@just4him - Yes, I just watched the finale of "Rizolli and Isles." I loved that mystery show and am really going to miss the people on it.

It's hard when you get used to a show and the characters and of course the interaction with all of them. You really get into those stories. It's a let down when the finale happens and you don't know what you're going to do with yourself any longer. I hope you can find a good replacement for the series.

@DeborahDiane There were a couple I saw that looked like they might be good. I'm going to have to find out what they were again and when they start.

@just4him - I just set my DVR to record some of the new shows. I thought "Designated Survivor" and "Bull" look good, and maybe some others.

I wanted to watch that one, but it was on Cable and I had just canceled my satellite when it started. Is it on Netflix so I can catch up on it? I'll need to make a point to find out.

@Jessicalynnt I'll need to look at the new additions. Super Girl was just added and it's now in second season or will be. I haven't seen that one, but I'm thinking about it.

I don't watch much either. In fact the two mentioned are the only shows I watch and now football now that the season has finally started again.

I never watch the series, I watch the TV so little that I am sure I would miss most episodes.

I don't watch much television either. Only those couple shows, and I know I'll need to put the one on DVR so I don't miss it because I'm usually here on the computer and lose all track of time.

@just4him it is a bummer when they cancel a favorite show. It's hard to find anything on TV to watch and when you find a good show it seems they do away with it.

At least it lasted four years. Once Upon a Time is on season 6. Season 5 just came on Netflix so I'm refreshing myself with it before the season starts. I just hope I don't hear those tragic words - final season when it does start up again.

@just4him I know what you mean. It is getting to where I set the DVR to record a season of something that I do enjoy watching.

Never saw Beauty and the Beast, but was interested. I also love Once Upon a Tim and am so happy it is coming back. There have been many shows that got cancelled that I was very upset about. To name a few "Melissa and Joey", "Twisted" "Switched at Birth" and I am saddened by the cancellation, but life goes on lol.

I've only heard of Switched at Birth. I didn't know it was canceled, though I never watched it. I'm also glad Once Upon a Time is coming back. Just a couple more weeks now.

No, the new series. Though it was done by Ron Koslow who also was in the original. Both are on Netflix, though not the final season yet.

I used to watch Beauty and the Beast too. I also used to watch once Upon A time. I thought a Secrets & Lies was canceled, but it's coming on for another season. And Motive and Murder in the First I thought they were canceled, but they weren't.

@ridingbet Now if my memory is right aren't Mark Harmon and Chris O'Donnell from Star Wars - Mark being Luke Skywalker. Gary Sinise is a very good actor as well.

@just4him Suspect Behavior NCIS is short-lived, but those where Mark Harmon and Chris O'Donnell star are raking good reviews and audience. also, the latest where Gary Sinise stars, is also good.

I used to watched the 1st season of this series and I am planning to watch the other. But since you mentioned it will end. I don't think it will be nice to watch it. sigh.
