Off To Paris ... Las Vegas for the Week!

My husband and I are off to Paris this week ... at least the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas!
As a result, I will not be on MyLot much during the next week. I will pop onto MyLot from time to time, and will try to post a few quick pictures/posts with some new Las Vegas photos.
However, I'm afraid I will fall behind in my notifications.
I will try to catch up whenever I can ... occasionally during the trip and the rest of you afterwards.
Things should get back to normal for me later in September.
I'll see more of you all, then!

@DeborahDiane Except the heat of the sun, I never found the nights in Las Vegas cool, except the year we went in December, it was incredibly cold.

@LadyDuck - Yes, it can be cold in Las Vegas in the winter. We were there in January one year and it snowed! The valet parking guys were building a snowman in the center of the circle drive when we arrived at our hotel!

@LadyDuck - The weather forecast is that it will be 100 degrees Fahrenheit when we first arrive, but the highs will only be around 90 degrees the rest of the week ... with lows around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't think it will be too bad and, mostly, we will only go outside at night.

I hope you have a good time in Vegas. It would be very easy to spend all youir money too, so make sure that you don't spend to much in one place. I have been to the Vegas Airport, and watched all the gamblers, and that is about the extent of my families trip to Las Vegas.

@DeborahDiane We never did gamble when we went through the airport, as it is a good way to lose your money, so we just watched everyone else lose theirs.

@rosekiss - It amazes me that there are miniature casinos in the Las Vegas airport! My husband loves it!

@rosekiss - I avoid the airport casino, too. I figure, with my luck, I would win a couple of hundred dollars and while they were paying it out, I would miss my plane and end up paying a couple of hundred dollars to get my flight changed! LOL

@BelleStarr - Maybe one day there will be a MyLot convention in Las Vegas. Wouldn't that be fun? My husband and I are looking forward to the trip.

@DianneN - Oh, no! I hope he starts to show some improvement soon. It doesn't sound like he is even close to being ready to travel to Florida ... and it will start getting cold where you are in another couple of months.

@DeborahDiane Neil Diamond was a Las Vegas "where old musicians go to die" guy when *I* was a kid. Is he still performing? The horror! That movie with Robert DeNiro (I forget what it was called) was kind of fun.

@TheHorse - HaHa! No, I only allow myself about $20 a day in gambling money and I can usually make that last all day! I doubt I will hang out with Italian gangsters ... but you never know! As for Neil Diamond ... we may see a show, but I doubt it will be him! LOL

@TheHorse - I don't know if Neil Diamond is still performing. If he is, he must look like he is filled with embalming fluid! I'll have to let you know if I see any billboards for him. I seriously doubt I would go see him in person!

@sol_cee - I have been to the real Paris and the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas doesn't compare to the real thing. However, it is fun to go to Las Vegas and get a little taste of different places!
