Years ago when I was much younger I used to be an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for a Ramada Inn. It was a great job, I enjoyed it.
The only thing was that the men traveling around on business used to do their darndest to pick up the girls who worked there,. me included, even though I was married.
One day I came to work and there was a beautiful bouquet of roses and daisies on my desk. It was from one of the men passing through on business.
The card said, "Roses for the sweetness and daisies for the innocence". I had to give him credit for a sweet saying but still wasn't going out.

I love the photo, roses and daisies are an unusual combination. We used to book Ramada hotels, before the Internet era, through their European free number. We did, until the day they booked for us the Ramada hotel in Atlanta that had been demolished a few weeks before. You can imagine the pleasure arriving at midnight in Atlanta from Europe, during a stormy night and discover that our hotel existed no more.

@LadyDuck I worked at Ramada until it was sold to a company from Chine. They had bought up several Ramada's up North. That was certainly very sloppy work on the part of the booking agent. I thought the combination was unusual also, and very beautiful.
