A 4-H group created a really neat geocaching trail. They placed 17 fake birdhouses in 17 different townships in the county. The closest one to my home was about 15 minutes. The farthest about an hour and a half.
Since my kids hate geocaching I am doing the trail myself while they are in school. The problem is having to drive there after they go to school and home in time before they get home from school.
While geocaching this trail I also got 2 other geocaches in the area. In three days I have driven 375 miles and found 18 geocaches. I have one more to get which to finish the trail. When I finish I get a collectible coin. I am so excited to go finish this up on Monday.
I feel guilty wasting the gas but pretty soon it will be cold and I will home inside 24/7 so I might as well get out this month while I can.
Last night my daughter went to my niece's house for a birthday party sleepover. I finished a book called Sisters by Danielle Steel. Right now my kids and I are going to a birthday party. I just wanted to pop in and post about what has been keeping me away from mylot. I will catch up soon.

We really enjoy geocaching, we went out today to play.
It is a great way of getting the family out and about outdoors, and takes you to some wonderful places.

@destry @5thHouse It is a lot of fun for me. My kids loved it at first but they hate being outdoors now. I am nearing 100. I always blog about my finds. The trackables are really neat as you can see where they have traveled. The one I just found started in South Carolina. I picked it up in NY. It has never been placed in PA so this week I will find somewhere to drop it off in a geocache in PA.

Geocaching seems very popular but I've never done any.

Yes there are some free apps but they didn't work well so I paid the $9.99 and got the geocaching app. You can look on geocaching.com that is the site.
