It is September and I have heard music of Christmas in almost every shopping mall in the city. Is it not too early for Christmas songs?
Philippines has the longest Christmas in the world. It starts in September and ends in February. Have you prefered for your Christmas decorations? I have not yet but I am already thinking what to bake or do to have a fun celebration.
I am going to make a gingerbread house for Christmas. Have you made one before? Making gingerbread house is fun. I will be making this Christmas decoration again with my nieces. Just like 2 years ago.
The gingerbread house was made by me ages ago, with graham crackers.

It is beautiful! Are the golden buttons edible too? Yes,many malls/stores are now playing Christmas songs, which make me quite sad. I don't know. But we are expecting some activities first for the All Saints/Souls' Day on Nov. 1 and 2.

Yes, the golden buttons are edible. I brought them from Germany for decorating cakes, cupcakes and other goodies I baked @acelawrites. All souls and Saints Day come first before decorating Christmas.

@hereandthere yes, I only decorate the house a few days before the first advent . I associate the German and the Filipino way of Christmas.

I was watching a cookery show a few weeks ago when they made gingerbread houses and I've made a promise to myself that I'll have a go at making one this Christmas. I've never made one before. But other than that I haven't given a thought to Christmas yet. It seems to start around September over here too - way, way too early. I don't get the Christmas spirit until December!
